This week our teacher had given us a task to create and set out a play. So far my group and I have created our characters and started to create the lines that each characters are saying our theme of our play is around rugby players at a half time breke. I am hoping to put it up very soon and show you what we have created.

Book Review

For the past week I have been reading a book called The Recruit by Robert Muchamore. It is about a boy named James who becomes a agent but has to pass all these difficult tasks along the way to becoming an agent for Cherub. He soon does and gets given his first mission but it was not as easy as he thought. So that was a quick idea of what this book is about and I definitely recommend that you read this really cool book.

trash to cash

This week for Trash to Cash I have finished and completed my plan for what I will

be creating. It will be a tin motor bike made out of coke a cola cans and the lights at the front will be made out of bottle caps. So far I have created the wheels and the handle bars and also the body for the bike. For next time I am hoping to have completed the bike this is what I am hoping it will look like in the end . 

Shake out

This week at school we practiced a shake out drill. If you don't know what a shake out is??. Shakeout is held across the world to remind people what to do in case of a earthquake or tsunami so that what did our school practise . 
We first got a call on the speaker to drop cover roll so we had to get into a turtle position under our tables. We waited for around two minutes then we got a tsunami warning so our school went out the gates and headed up our streets to the safe zone we then went up a drive way and waited. Then our teachers did the roll and once we got an all clear we headed back to our class and carried on with our work

Rugby world cup

This week our school put on a rugby world cup tournament. Well we did not actually play rugby but it was great fun .We Then got put in to all sorts of rugby world cup teams. 
My team ended up being new Zealand .We then got to play heaps of fun games like rip pa rugby and rats and rabbits and heaps more. There was also a prize at the end for 3rd 2nd and 1st the prize was a chocolate bar each. 
Sadly our team did not place in the end but it was still great fun.

Revenge of the lawn gnomes

This week I have been reading a book called goosebumps revenge of the lawn gnomes. It is about a boy called Joe and his sister jean. one day the and there dad  went to the shop called pink  corner which was a shop that sell lawn ornaments. his dad buys these two lawn gnome ornaments  witch were made to do mischief and the two gnomes frame Joe and his sister jean for things they never did so that was a little something about the book I have been reading hope you enjoyed.

Argument

This week I was given a task to write a argument about should or should not
cigarettes be banned this is what I created hope you enjoy..


Should  cigarette smoking be banned 

I strongly believe that smoking cigarettes should be banned. This should happen
because they are bad for your health, numerous cigarette butts are left all over our
environment and it is something that people can become addicted to.

Cigarettes are bad for your well being and health. Because  researchers and scientist
says its use is a major cause of cancer and other problems, such as heart disease,
diabetes, emphysema, chronic bronchitis and others. Scientist say that 480,000
people die each year for smoking cigarettes and in that 480,000 41,000 die from
picking up old cigarettes and smoking them 

How many times do you see cigarette butts lying around on the ground.

Littering is also becoming a major problem in some countries because people are
always throwing the leftovers of the cigarette on the ground.   It can take 18 months
to 10 years for a cigarette filter to decompose.but depending on the conditions of
the area the cigarette butt is discarded in

Cigarettes are addictive! In New Zealand there are over five hundred robberies
a year because of people wanting to smoke cigarettes because they are addicted '
and can't afford it.You ask yourself why is smoking cigarettes so addictive? Well it's
because cigarettes contain nicotine which is highly addictive even if you want to
stop smoking, you may find it difficult because you're addicted to the effects of
nicotine.

Overall I think smoking is bad and should not be smoked because of all the littering,
being addicted,bad health,and also for the environment so that was my opinion on
should smokes be band.

My sandwich

This week for writing we were given a task to create instructions on how to make our favourite sandwiches. This is what I created hope you enjoy..

How to make a chicken mayo and lettuce sandwich.

Materials.

.Butter knife 

.chopping board

.plate

Ingredients.

.mayo

.bread

.chicken

.lettuce

.butter

Step 1]grab some soap and wash your hands with warm water before you begin to make your sandwich.

Step 2]Grab two slices of bread out of the packet then place on the chopping board then use the knife to butter the bread then spread the mayo with the knife. All on one side of the bread.

Step 3] add the chicken on top of the buttered side, next you add the lettuce on top then you grab the plain bread and add on top of the lettuce then grab a knife and cut the sandwich in half.

Step 4] Grab the sandwich and place nicely on a plate then enjoy.

Surfing

This week me and my brother lebron went surfing out in cob dent beach. I really enjoyed it because it was really fun and existing but the thing I found most difficult was actually trying to stand up on the board. It is also way harder than you think here is some photos of what we did hope you enjoy..
