My myth

This week for writing we have been focusing on myths. Our teacher gave us a task to create our own myth. I decided to do mine around lightning.

Zeus and the lightning thief.

Zeus and his cousin Hades were at war. Hades was punished and never
allowed to return to heaven ever again.  When Hades was young he had stolen
the lightning bolt from Zeus and declared war. Even though Zeus did not
have his lightning bolt he had accepted the battle against Hades and his
demons. They battled. It was horrifying. Zeus had defeated Hades and
his demons, but Zeus had barely made it out alive. He had taken the
lightning bolt back into his own hands and sent Hades to where he belongs,
underground. Zeus is always fighting Hades and his powerful army of demons
from entering heaven again. Zeus and  his great and powerful lightning bolt
strikes lightning at Hades and his demons every now and then. You can still
see the lightning strike to the ground to this day.

Hanmer springs

This year for camp our class and next door class went to Hanmer Springs Forestry Camp. The teacher gave us a task to create a slide with covering day one, two and three,  of the camp. The slide included  all the activity's we did. I think that mountain biking was the best because you got to go up hill and down hill and it was really  exciting because there was a bike track half way threw the activity. I hope you enjoyed my slide.
